Chris Brown Silent Auction

Own a piece of music history! Goodwill of Central Virginia will hold a silent auction of donated merchandise from singer-songwriter Chris Brown beginning on Monday, May 12 at 9 a.m. at the Brookhill Goodwill retail store, located at 5270 Chamberlayne Road in Richmond. The proceeds from the silent auction, which ends on Monday, June 2 at 8 p.m. will benefit local Goodwill programs, which help people help themselves through the power of work. Retail Operations Manager

Hours: Varied schedule includes days, evenings and weekends. This is an exempt position.

Wage:
Mid-30's

Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to overall management of the retail store. Responsibilities include controlling company assets through effective recruitment, training and scheduling. Meeting budgeted sales goals monthly/annually. Accurately receiving merchandise and creating attractive displays. Effectively hire, train, supervise and evaluate all store personnel. Completing required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in business management or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Valid Virginia driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of insurance. Reliable transportation required.

We are seeking innovative, dynamic individuals with exceptional business acumen and customer focus. The position is designed to provide comprehensive training that will allow the candidate to understand our mission and operational logistics, and to acquire management and technical skills to become a manager in the Retail or Education and Training departments. Responsible for future business development and execution of our current business plan. Partner with senior management to develop growth plans, ensure collaborative environment, and achieve the organization's goals. The Management Trainee will spend time in Goodwill departments learning to manage the day-to-day operations. Successful candidates will meet the following minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree is required. Master's in Business, Education or related field is desired. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of work experience in business management, social services, education or non-profit. Proven ability to deliver results, drive change, and grow with the organization.

Career Development Support Services

Program Manager, Medical Adaptive Gifting Program

Hours:Full-time position.

Duties:
Manage and direct the Medical Adaptive/Assistive Technology Gifting Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: serving as the primary liaison between Goodwill of Richmond and Hampton roads and customers (customers are defined as persons/businesses donating medical equipment and supplies, and those requesting items); maintaining and building collaborative partnerships with other community organizations and businesses; developing, monitoring and revising annual budgets, staff supervision, developing new service resources, enhancing existing programs, and implementing new programs; providing case management services. Duties:
The Support Services team consists of programs and services that provide an enhanced level of support designed to enable individuals with significant obstacles to obtain, retain or improve employment or quality of life. As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership within Goodwill’s Career Development and Support Services department; develop new business to expand services offered; ensure program compliance; supervise programs and services to ensure effective operational control, adequate staffing, reporting procedures, and fiscal accountability; participate in the strategic planning process; and monitor expenditures, and revenue in relation to program budgets.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, business, vocational education or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Must have proven managerial and program development experience in a related field. Must be able to analyze financial reports and prepare budgets. Must have demonstrated ability to develop and motivate employee teams. At least five years of supervisory experience. Must be computer literate in spreadsheets and word processing. Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

We are seeking Outside Sales Representatives to join our Business Enterprise Team. The successful sales candidate will have experience with new account generation as well as account maintenance. We look for an outgoing and assertive individuals that have the ability to take sales from prospecting through the close.
