When you shop at a Goodwill store, you get great bargains on gently used merchandise, and on new goods, which have been obtained through partnerships with local retailers. Best of all, you help someone learn work skills, gain employment and become a tax-paying member of the community. Retail operations contribute over half of our annual revenues, supporting education, training and job placement programs for people with disabilities and disadvantages.
Each year, Goodwill associates process over 30 million pounds of donations, providing an excellent selection for our retail stores and weekly auctions. Around town you will find twelve Goodwill stores specializing in the sale of clothing and household items, a boutique featuring name-brand designer fashions, and accessories, and a warehouse outlet at our main facility. And, don't forget about our Goodwill auctions for general merchandise and automobiles, held at the Goodwill main facility every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Learn more about our auctions. The Goodwill Greenery is another great way to support the mission and work of Goodwill of Central Virginia.
