Get connected...at our Tri-Cities Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church Community Life Center in Petersburg!
Let Goodwill help you add work-ready individuals to your workforce with little time or money. We have been providing education, training and job placement services for over 80 years, and are proud to continue this tradition by hosting seasonal career fairs, helping individuals turn on the power of work in their communities.
Annual career events are open to the general public, and bring together leading area employers and hundreds of job seekers in one location. To prepare job seekers, we conduct several pre-employment workshops at our facility, prior to a career event. There is no cost to attend workshops, and they cover a variety of topics including applications, résumés, interviewing, dressing for success, and career fair success tips. Free résumé paper and copy services are also available to attendees.
Registration for job seekers begins at 10:00 a.m. Employers must remain set-up at the career fairs until the close of the event at 3:00 p.m. to be fair to job seekers in attendance.
Our workforce development team has extensive experience, and is committed to working with you to reach your employment goals. Meet hundreds of candidates... register early for prime table locations and to maximize publicity opportunities for your company. You'll receive a 6' table, 2 chairs, a tablecloth, and identification signage. Beverages and light refreshments will also be provided. Our community events are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Respond early to reserve your company's table!
