When you use a file cabinet, or push a shopping cart at your local grocery store, you probably don't think of Goodwill. But, Goodwill associates, many whom have disabilities, work to assemble and package products like these every day. Our workers take pride in the jobs they do and feel satisfaction through the dignity and self-esteem that comes from earning a paycheck.
Our Industrial Services Division works with businesses of all sizes to perform light industrial work and mailing services, which provide training opportunities and skills development experience to participants in Goodwill programs. We are equipped to help companies meet production deadlines, address the shortage of production space in their facilities, and reduce costs.
Let us help you during the consideration stage, when you are evaluating costs, and we will offer suggestions and a host of options. We can serve as a central processing point for your business, receiving materials for packaging or assembly, and will even pick-up your materials, deliver them to our modern, well-lit, temperature-controlled main facility where associates will be trained on project specifications. A project manager oversees a very efficient and hard working contracts team that assembles literature, parts, samples, products and instructions, and professionally packages them for shipping, including palletizing and distribution.
