Accessibility Survey
The education and training department is the core of Goodwill of Central Virginia. Through assessment, education, training and job placement, people with disabilities and disadvantages are given opportunities to reach their fullest potential.
Many individuals who come through Goodwill's doors rely on public assistance to support their families, and may face a number of obstacles to employment including limited education or work history, illiteracy, language barriers, or a criminal history. Some have lost their jobs due to company downsizing. Others have physical, mental or emotional disabilities, and need to develop work skills and habits to help them obtain and maintain employment.
We offer specialized programs and services designed for individuals with disabilities and obstacles to employment, as well as a Job Center and other services that complement our overall mission. Support services include a Medical/Adaptive Gifting Program, which is available for the general public. Browse our education and training links and get to know us better!
